Sand Sculpting Contest at Isle of Palms

In Celebration of the Red Drink

Carolina Day and Beyond

Carolina Day, held annually on the Saturday closest to June 28, commemorates the Battle of Sullivan’s Island in 1776. On June 28, 2025, Fort Moultrie will host a fee-free event featuring living historians, ranger programs, and hands-on activities. Visitors can experience rifle, musket, and cannon demonstrations throughout the day, along with interpretive programs highlighting both Patriot and British perspectives.
