Artwalk
When: First Friday of the month except July and January
Where: Downtown Charleston
Immerse yourself in local art at more than 30 galleries during the Charleston Gallery Association’s Artwalk. Taking place on the first Friday of most months, the Artwalk is a fantastic way to meet new people, discover local artists, and find the perfect art piece for your home. Participants have the ability to create their own Artwalk route using the CGA website’s “Charleston Gallery Association Map.” There is no cost of admission to this event.
Charleston Farmers Market
When: Saturdays, April 6-November 23, 2024
Where: Marion Square-329 Meeting Street
You will find a variety of local produce, plants, herbs, and cut flowers, as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment, and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans every Saturday at the Market.
2nd Sunday On King Street
When: Every month on the second Sunday from 12-5 pm
Where: King Street from Queen to Calhoun Street
Enjoy exploring Kings Street without traffic! You will find carefully curated artists showing their work on the street, unique food vendors, and other surprises! Enjoy discovering shops you might not have noticed before!
Weekend Wine Down
When: Every Saturday | 10 am-5 pm
Where: Deep Water Vineyard
Prepare to unwind rain or shine with your friends at Deep Water Vineyards at their weekly Wine-Downs! Sample wines ($15 to taste 6), sip unique drinks (wine slushies, meads, mimosas, and bloody marys!), and enjoy live music and delicious food trucks. Relax on the patio with games (cornhole, swurfer/swing) or explore the farm ((rabbits, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, and a miniature brahma cow!). Leashed dogs & well-behaved kids welcome. North Charleston Arts Fest
When: May 1-5, 2024

Cheers on the Pier

Where: Mount Pleasant Pier, 71 Harry Hallman Blvd., Mount Pleasant
Wrap up your workday on the Mount Pleasant Pier with live music, craft beer, good friends, and a gorgeous sunset.
No admission fee. Blankets and chairs are welcome, as seating is limited. Outside alcohol and coolers are prohibited. Craft beer, made-to-order sandwiches, ice cream, fruit smoothies, and more will be for sale in the River Watch Café and Gift Shop.
53rd Annual Charleston Greek Festival

Spoleto Festival USA

Sand Sculpting Contest
When: Saturday, June 1, 2024 | 9:00 a.m.
Calling all sand sculpting enthusiasts! The 34th Annual Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting Competition kicks off on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at 9 am on the Isle of Palms’ Front Beach. This free event welcomes everyone to compete in solo or team categories (children, young adults, families, adults). Show off your creativity, win prizes, and be part of the fun! Marion Square Jam

Awendaw Green and the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs are teaming up to present the Marion Square Jam, a vibrant celebration of local music. Wine on the Piazza
